Corrosion Inhibitors Case Study from Techtron

Techtron is often asked to undertake projects that are unique, specialist or bespoke. In 2014, they had the opportunity to help a European distributor of corrosion inhibitors with the move of a large contract packing agreement.

With complex blending requirements, the plant required major investment. This included the modification of blending vessels with the installation of plate heat exchangers, an acid transfer system to handle reactive chemistry and the control of exothermic reactions. All engineering work was independently verified by an external consultant working on behalf of the customer.
